Back To The Basics: A new webinar series focusing on the fundamentals of industrial automation and controls

By Shawn Hatton, ISA Central California President

ISA’s Automation Body of Knowledge (AutoBOK) was published nearly 15 years ago and has since become the de-facto standard of topics professionals in the Automation industry should be familiar with. The AutoBOK has also served as the standard for test preparation for the ISA CCST (Certified Control System Technician) certification, Control Systems PE (Professional Engineer) Licensing, and CAP (Certified Automation Professional) certification. AutoBOK covers the various types of signals, processors, networks, interfaces, and advanced control methods that automation professionals encounter. ISA Central California believes in establishing a strong foundation of knowledge for our members, and aligning the methodologies presented in the AutoBOK with real world applications.
